The authors of the articles published in the Ingeniería Investiga journal, retain the intellectual property and moral rights of their work, and have the following rights over their writing: to present it in public, prepare derivative works, reproduce it, and distribute it.

All texts published in the journal are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-4.0). CC licenses are based on the principle of creative freedom for academic, scientific and cultural purposes. CC licenses complement copyright without opposing it.

If a manuscript is approved for publication, the authors will assign to the journal the copyright for non-exclusive dissemination of the article, under a Creative Commons Attribution License (BY) that requires reference to the original author, and will authorize the journal to reproduce, publish, edit, publish, post, communicate and publicly transmit their work, including text, graphics and photographs, in any format or medium, including the technical modifications necessary to circumvent technological measures. The assignment of non-exclusive use rights for scientific purposes compatible with open science.
