Publishing Rules
INFORMATION FOR SUBMISSION OF ARTICLES
INGENIERIA INVESTIGA, is a journal of scientific publications, arbitrated by external peers. The periodicity of the magazine is biannual and the issues of publication are related in the field of engineering. The magazine publishes works carried out by student researchers and teachers of the Faculty of Engineering of the Private University of Tacna, as well as other national and foreign researchers, being the first language in Spanish.
OF THE PRESENTATION
The article must be submitted through a request for publication addressed to the Director of the Editorial Committee of the magazine. The request must be signed by one of the authors, who will be responsible for the publication procedures (being a corresponding author). A printed original and the article in electronic format will be attached in a Word document. The presentation should include the title of the work, the full name of the authors, type of work and affidavit signed by the authors. And a letter that clarifies conflicts of interest.
Articles accepted for publication must be original, must not have been published partially or in full, or submitted for publication in another journal in print or electronic format. The authors are responsible for the material presented
CONTENTS OF THE MAGAZINE
The journal publishes articles that are original research reports, bibliographic reviews or reports on topics of interest at the regional and national level. On occasion, brief communications are published in order to publicize innovative or promising techniques or methodologies or preliminary results that review singular interest, as well as letters to the editor.
The units of the International System (SI), which is based on the metric system, will be used.
JOB PRESENTATION
The work must be typed on ISOA4 size paper (212x297) on one side without spacing in the paragraphs. The margins will be 4 cm left, 3 cm right, 4 cm upper and 3 cm lower. The total length of the body, including bibliography, will be 12 pages. The work must have three basic parts.
Identification of the article: title (in English and Spanish), name and surname of the authors, full name of the institution of the authors, email of each of the authors and the postal address of the author for correspondence. The title should not exceed 20 words and should express the actual content of the work.
Summary of no more than 200 words (in English and Spanish), 3 to 5 keywords (in English and Spanish).
Article body: the text of the articles must contain the following structure: Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions. All pages must be numbered, starting with the title page. The article does not have a footer to clarify concepts of the content, it must have an extension of up to 12 pages, including bibliographic references. For numbered data and measurements, use the International System of Units (SI). The following order will be considered:

Immediately after citing, paraphrasing or using in any way foreign material, it is necessary to refer to the source that appears in the bibliographic references by means of an Arabic number in brackets in size equal to the text.
The APA standard will be used for citations in the text and bibliographic references.
Only references cited in the body of the article will be presented.
ILLUSTRATIONS
The Figures (maps, diagrams, diagrams, drawings, graphs, photos, etc.) will be numbered correlatively with Arabic numerals; in the same way the Tables. The legends of the Figures and Tables should be presented after the text and be sufficiently explanatory.
SELECTION PROCESS
The works that meet the formal requirements will be submitted to arbitration by external experts according to international quality criteria. The editorial team of the magazine determines whether the manuscript meets the general criteria described above. The magazine reserves the right to make modifications to the original text. The accepted article will be edited and proof will be sent to the author for acceptance of publication consent.
