Abstract

The present article is an introductory text, corresponding to a scientific-theatrical investigation in process, tending to the elaboration of a Peripheral Theatrical Cartography for Tacna, in the manner of an elementary theater panorama from our origins to the 21st century; aware of the urgency of filling the gap on tacneña theatricality, with scientific research, that do justice to one of the most important artistic activities in the region. The Theatricality of our dead lost in time, whose material evidences are recovered from oblivion by a tenacious and persistent memory, perceived in the regional living culture, through the scenic experience in the diversity of theatrical spaces, artistic objects and scenic practices along the coastal and highland geography of our region. That, in this opportunity, only includes the Colonial Theater, through the syncretic Colonial Andean Theatricality in the adoration of the Virgin of the Peñas and the theatrical text of the "Comedy of Our Lady of Guadalupe and her Miracles" by Fray Diego de Ocaña (sixteenth century).
