Abstract

In the research work, the types of housing available in the plaza were analyzed in order to serve as a theoretical basis for future urban architectural projects that adequately respond to the climate of the province of La Rioja and the sociocultural profile of the itinerant rural worker, known as “ swallow worker ”.

The places that temporarily house the swallow workers were surveyed and analyzed, with the aim of reflecting the housing reality in which they currently live, describing the complexity of the issue in question in order to serve as a basis for overcoming and innovative, creative and efficient in future urban architectural projects designed to improve the quality of life of rural workers in the province, promoting in turn, interrelation with the residents of each region; without this interfering in the interests and fair profits of companies and farms.
