THEATER: Validity Absence of the Arab Theater in Tucumán, Argentina

Abstract

I am a granddaughter of Syrians living in Argentina. My body carries the memory of three generations that went through the roots and uprooting. I live in a Western world that maintains a prejudiced attitude towards the Arab woman. I want to talk about that in the scene. Overwrite why the image of oriental women is stigmatized and standardized. The West drew a caricature that needs to be countered. I wish to make this experience visible at the moment when the western virulence towards the country of my grandparents reaches inadmissible degrees of bellicosity.
