Abstract

Primary education of the Peruvian educational system has its pedagogical actions oriented towards the achievement of the bases of the formation of the personality of boys and girls, future citizens. These bases are achieved by stimulating the development of good habits, skills and elementary knowledge for their psychomotor development. Objective; To determine how the family food culture influences the eating habits of primary education students of Educational Institutions of Tacna, 2018. Material and Methods; The type of research is basic, cross-sectional, non-experimental. The sample formed by 144 sixth grade students of educational institutions of the city of Tacna, with non-probabilistic sampling. The survey technique was used for data collection and the questionnaire was used as an instrument. Results; The food culture variable indicates that the dimension has the highest percentage in the availability and accessibility of food in 61.8%. And the dependent variable, with the indicator omission; of meal times: Lunch. Conclusion; the family food culture has a significant influence on the eating habits of students in the sixth grade of primary education of the Educational Institutions of the Tacna, according to the value is 0.00 lower than the level of significance.
