Basic skills to undertake successfully

Entrepreneurship as a field of study has gained increasing relevance in academic agendas, due to its ability to create employment and promote the economic growth of the country. In this sense, the present study was carried out with the purpose of identifying which are the basic skills associated with the successful entrepreneur. The present study is descriptive and exploratory. The approach used was quantitative, with a non-experimental design of a cross-sectional nature. The study was carried out in a non-random sample of 56 students from the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Private University of Tacna. To observe the variable, a questionnaire on successful entrepreneur skills was used, which was validated in content. Reliability was calculated using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, the result being (0.937). The results through the values of (χ2) reveal that the basic skills best associated with the successful entrepreneur are: economically and financially evaluate a business (χ2=152.280; gl=56; p=000), and the ability invests in business development (χ2=176,485; gl=56; p=000). The study concludes, based on the analysis of means, that the relevant basic skill corresponds to mastery and management of marketing strategies, with a confidence level of 95%.
