MFactors associated with digital skills in university teachers

The present study was carried out with the purpose of determining the factors that influence the digital competencies of teachers at the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Private University of Tacna. The study is descriptive and exploratory. The approach used was quantitative, with a non-experimental design of a transversal nature. The study was carried out with a non-random sample of 79 teachers from the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Private University of Tacna. The survey technique was implemented, with Likert scale type items. The response rate was 100% of the total questionnaires sent. The reliability of the instrument was high with a Crombach's Alpha coefficient of (0.931). The results reveal that instrumental competencies and methodological didactic competencies are the determinants of the digital competencies of university teachers at the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Private University of Tacna.
