The management styles determining success in educational management

The purpose of the study was to know and determine the managerial styles that are relevant for the success of educational management. Educational management is in crisis, a reason that justifies the study to contribute to the optimal selection of suitable directors in the educational system. The present study is non-experimental, descriptive-explanatory in nature, cross-sectional and with a quantitative approach. It was carried out in a sample of 20 professionals who are following postgraduate studies in a master's degree in University Teaching and Educational Management at the Private University of Tacna. The technique used was the survey with multiple choice questions with a Likert scale. The instrument was validated with Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient, with a value of (0.941). The results reveal that there are three key management styles for optimal educational management: Assurance of results, critical thinking and creative attitude. It is concluded that managerial styles are strongly associated with the quality of educational management, with a confidence level of 95%.
