Abstract

The study aimed to describe emotional intelligence and determine its relationship with good humor in university students. It was a non-experimental, descriptive relational research of a transversal nature, with a quantitative approach. The study was carried out on a sample of 156 students from the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Private University of Tacna. The survey technique was implemented, with a measurement scale of the Likert scale type. The reliability of the instrument was very good, with Cronbach's Alpha of (0.88). Among the main results obtained in this research, it was detected that there is a significant relationship between humor and emotional intelligence of university students. It is concluded that educational managers need to undertake the planning and implementation of an emotional training process.
