Entrepreneurial skills for the success of enterprises: Case of entrepreneurial students

Abstract

The study was carried out with the purpose of knowing and determining the business skills that are essential for the success of the enterprises, from the perception of the entrepreneurial students. It is a non-experimental research, explanatory causal level of cross-section and quantitative approach. The study was carried out in a non-random sample of 54 students, of both genders, of which 30 are studying Commercial Engineering and 24 Business Administration at the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Private University of Tacna. The technique used was the survey with multiple choice questions with a Likert scale. The reliability of the instrument was obtained with the Crombach's Alpha method of (0.93). A response rate of 95% was obtained from the virtual questionnaire. The results revealed that the capabilities and challenges to undertake are the fundamental components in entrepreneurship. It is concluded that the success of the enterprises depends on 53.4% of the capacities to undertake.
