In a highly competitive market where businesses compete to lead and sustain themselves successfully, it is relevant to investigate the role of the creativity and innovation variables in business. In this sense, the main objective of this study is to determine between creativity and business innovation, which is the most influential in business growth. It is a non-experimental research, with an associative and explanatory research design, of a transversal nature with a quantitative approach. The study was carried out in a non-random sample of 113 students who represent entrepreneurs in training at the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Private University of Tacna. For this study, questionnaires with a Likert scale were applied. The reliability of the instruments was high, with alpha values of (0.803) for creativity and (0.858) for innovation. Within the study, two independent variables called creativity and innovation were analyzed, in relation to the business growth variable. The results indicate that the three variables are significantly associated and that the model explains 62.9% of the variability in business growth. Finally, it is concluded that the most influential driving factor on economic growth is business innovation with a standardized beta of (β=47.4%).
